OUR PEN PALS FROM UK and TURKEY – meet, write, learn, have fun…

A few days ago we got letters from Chelmsford, Essex. We were very excited about the letters and the fact that the letters were written by native speakers of English. We learned that the letters came from the city which is the ''birthplace of radio''. How interesting! It's because, in 1899, Giuglielmo Marconi opened the first ''wireless'' factory there. Here you can see the photos of some important places in Chelmsford.

The pupils who wrote the letters are 6 and 7 years of age. Though our students from 5th to 8th grade are included in this project the age difference doesn't matter and we are very happy to have met them. They put a lot of effort in making their letters beautiful. Thank you!

From the other side of Europe we got letters from Kahranmanmaras, Turkey. Our Turkish friends wrote about their families, hobbies, school, pets, their favourite famous people…
